Something very special is coming to the Mobile Tech Cave

Hey if other sites can give stupid names to their home offices then why can’t I.

The receiving  department at the Mobile Tech Cave is gearing up to receive a new gadget. This gadget is so exciting that I am making them work on Saturday to receive it?

So what is it? Well I was briefed on this but unfortunately I can’t talk about it until we actually take possession of the device. You will just have to check back to see what it is..

WM6 AT&T Treo 750 Update Delayed?

WMExperts is reporting that there was some speculation that the reason for the AT&T delay of the WM6 Treo 750 update is due to issues with the Good Messaging service. This comes from various discussions on message boards that WMExperts links to. Below is an excerpt from that discussion:

A mention today in the 750 forum makes the third instance I have heard that the ATT WM6 upgrades are being held up by the delays of GMM 5.0. Sources say that the ROM has been ready for weeks now (as witnessed by the dozens of successful upgrades with the “leaked” ATT ROM at places like XDA). However, since the GetGood functionality is part of ATT’s base ROM, and since GMM 4.x versions are supposedly incompatible with WM6, the whole shooting match is waiting on GMM 5.0 to be complete.

What a joke!

Our technically challenged friend has once again shown his ineptitude. He recently posted a story on NBC ending their relationship with Apple and the iTunes store. That is nice to know. Unfortunately the story was already on the same site earlier in the day. Really nice to see that you check things out before posting.

On another note you might want to get your networks straight. Lost is on ABC not NBC you dolt.  Sounds like you might be Lost! I’m sure he will pull the story once he reads this.

Hey keep up the good work. And you wonder why we gave you the boot from Mobility Today.

Have a great weekend!!
